Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Sneakers

Designer Clothes Online one of the top online stores for designer clothes and accessories added five of the famed designer shoes in the world, Converse. Probably all of you guys (and girls) know Converse, I mean who won't? Five of their best seller is the Chuck Taylor shoes, which is five of the reasons Converse became famous.

The brand itself already gotten itself a lot of name Chuck Taylor All-Stars, or Converse All-Stars, also called "Chucks" or "Cons" are canvas and rubber shoes produced by Converse. They were first produced in 1917 as the "All-Star," Converse's attempt to capture the basketball shoe market. However, the shoes wasn't as popular back then as the basketball player named after it, Chuck Taylor.

Chuck Taylor himself preferred the plain white Chucks than the famous Black. Charles H. Taylor was a basketball player for the Akron Firestones. He believed in the shoe so much that in 1921 he joined the Converse sales force, and later became the player as well as a coach for the Converse All-Stars, the company's industrial league basketball team.

They would rapidly increase a few years later, thanks to Charles "Chuck" H. Taylor. Because of the shoe's design, Chuck Taylor has been inspired and became five of the leading shoes salesman in the world. After making a few proposal for the shoes' design, the shoes gained it is current name along with Chuck Taylor's signature and the all star patch in the ankle part of the shoe.

The Converse "Chuck Taylor" All Star, two times the premiere shoe of elite baskteball players now became the shoe of the counter-culture and of infant boomers who refused to stop wearing their favorite pairs of chucks. The shoes became popular with rock musicians, and younger generations wore them for their one-of-a-kind looks, colors, and comfort and as an alternative to the expensive high performance shoes made by Nike and other companies. They were thought about a leisure shoe and now were purchased because they were fashionable. Converse repsonded by manufacturing chucks in hundreds of different variations that included prints, patterns, unusual colors, and special models for different age groups.

Fans of punk rock have adopted the shoe as a fashion trend since the late 1970s and lots of popular punk rock bands, such as the Ramones, have supported the trend by wearing the sneakers. All-Stars became popular again in the '90s to fans of the world as famous grunge-punk band Nirvana emulated the band's frontman Kurt Cobain, who had worn All-Stars for lots of years prior to the '90s due to the influence of different punk rock bands he enjoyed in his youth.

Anger Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello is also known for commonly wearing Chucks, and U2 guitarist The Edge has been seen wearing All-Stars onstage in recent years. Jackass star Johnny Knoxville is also known for his signature black hi-top All-Stars. Also popular with the characters in iCarly: Carly, Sam, Freddie, and Spencer all wear them in black, purple, pink, light blue, navy, royal blue, red, plaid, and gray.

Chuck Taylor saw of the same rock-oriented youth cultures that have kept an affinity for the shoes since (at least) the late '70's early '80s punk and new wave eras. The wearing Chuck Taylors is popular with hip hop fashion. They are referenced frequently by lots of rappers (among them are Game, Lil Wayne, Mack 10, WC and more). In 2004, a wildly successful collaboration with designer John Varvatos gave rise to reinterpreted version of the classic Chuck Taylor All Star and Jack Purcell sneakers, including the creation of the John Varvatos Laceless Chuck Taylor.

Zachary Levi currently wears black Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars as the title character in NBC's action comedy TV series, Chuck. David Tennant wears them as his character in Doctor Who. Dr. House, title character of the show House, has worn black All Stars in multiple episodes. Jamie Hyneman of MythBusters wears a pair of red All Stars in most/all episodes. American Idol season 9 contestant Lee DeWyze often wears black All-Stars.

The recent increases in numbers of colors also may have led to the market for Chuck Taylors growing, due to various owner or factory-based customizations of the shoe through color, use of stylized shoelaces, and through drawing or writing on the rubberized parts. The customization of Chuck Taylors is highly popular with the rock scene, with teenage girls. Lots of draw or write on the shoes, use mismatched laces or wear odd shoes (often five differently colored Chuck Taylors.)

These practices are common among wearers over the past two decades. The trend of wearing the low-rise shoes (in white) and writing on the rubberized part can be traced back to as early as 1972, peaking with junior high school girls between 1973 and 1975. Due to the texture and one-of-a-kind designs, Converse are favored globally. Today the shoes are popularly worn by all kinds of people. The shoes are available in several core colors, seasonal colors, as well as a variety of print styles.
